A clear, step-by-step guide to joining the BCSS family. Follow these steps to begin your academic journey.
BCSS (Bassrat University of Computer Science and Social Studies) follows a transparent and merit-based admission process. Admissions are open twice yearly — Spring and Fall semesters. Carefully follow each step below to ensure a smooth application experience.
Before applying, ensure you meet the minimum academic requirements for your desired program. Visit the Eligibility Criteria page for program-specific requirements including minimum FSc/A-Level grades and entry test requirements.
Prepare the following documents before filling out the form:
Fill in the Online Admission Form completely and accurately. Double-check all personal and academic information before submitting. Upload scanned copies of your documents in the required formats (PDF/JPEG).
Pay the non-refundable application processing fee of PKR 1,000 via the designated bank challan or online payment gateway. Keep the payment receipt for your records.
Certain programs (Medical, Engineering, and Pharmacy) require an entry test. You will be notified of your test date and venue via SMS and email. Bring your original CNIC and admit card on the day of the test.
Merit lists are displayed on the BCSS website and noticeboard. Shortlisted candidates receive an official offer letter via email. Check the university website regularly after the closing date for updates.
Upon receiving your offer letter, deposit the semester fee within the stipulated deadline. Submit original documents to the Admissions Office to complete your formal enrollment. Your student ID will be issued after verification.
All newly enrolled students must attend the mandatory Orientation Program. This introduces you to faculty, campus facilities, student services, and university policies. Orientation is typically held in the first week of the semester.
